Hi-Res: Harlem exhibition

"Expanding the Walls: Making Connections Between Photography, History and
Community" This exhibition explores issues in contemporary photography and visual
culture. The work brings together a range of work by students studying photography.
I was impressed by the work of Natasha Santana creating a series of photographs
which celebrate the times when you are alone and how this leads you to learn more
about yourself. I could easily relate to this project because I made the journey to
New York alone at this time. The photographs above are named: 'In my own world',
'Vibrantly Solo'.
