Blackwell’s latest sculpture created from the use of second hand books and clothing to bring fairy tales to life. I appreciate the way in which Blackwell communicates ideas through the use of concepts and symbolism. This image seems to reflect the story of a soul taking the shape of a butterfly as a person sleeps.
